How Proper Clothing Better Cradles Babies to Rest & Grow
Living with sensitive skin
The number one thing that most parents can all agree with when it comes to taking care of a new born is how important those beautiful Nap Times are! However, most parents are unaware that there is something that could possibly be shortening that precious time and reducing the quality of sleep your little loved one is getting… and us as parents too. Two Words... skin irritations.
That right, even an extra 30-45 mins more of sleep would be great during those times of rest (especially for us Parents) but even more importantly for additional reasons that you might not have thought about at first. Let's take a quick look at some of those reasons.
Point #1: Better Sleep Equals Better Development
- Our needs are not that different from babies. The more time you can rest the more time your body gets to repair and solidify itself into a more healthier state.
- The same goes for your little cuddle bug (or insert any cute name you have for your little loved one). The main difference is that their bodies are not only doing what yours is right now but are also growing and expanding, making their sleep a crucial part of their development.
- We have established that Quality Sleep is key when it comes to development, but did you know that it even impacts how your baby will act when he or she is awake... either more alert and responsive to the world around them or upset, groggy and overall... tired still.
- Even just taking a few extra moments to implement some better sleeping habits can do wonders for both you and your baby. Think soothing to sleep with consistency, like playing relaxing instrumental music that signals thoughts in their minds that "it is time to sleep." (A great friend of ours uses a specific Youtube video to play during Nap Times that works amazingly well. Click here).
Point #2: No/Minor Skin Irritations Equal A Better Mood
- Now, one of the first biggest problems that could be hindering the quality of sleep for your baby tonight is connected with what they are sleeping in. (Shameless shout-out) That’s what makes our clothing such a great choice for babies, especially with sensitive skin.
- Irritations can normally be visible but can sometime not be so easy to see. Either way though, it's the uncomfortable feelings that are there that Baby knows... but can’t communicate about it to you in any other way than by crying or being fussy. Think about it, how would you act/feel if something was bothering you and you couldn’t/ didn't have a way to express or talk about it even to a loved one? Hmm, seems like this problem even affects later on in life too, even as teenagers but that's for a different article. Back to what we were talking about.
- A large number of parents never really get information that really helps them understand why their baby is acting a certain way but listen to this, a lot of your baby’s fussiness can be directly affected by skin irritations. This is why we make all our Baby Apparel specifically with Organic materials to keep irritations/ rashes down and happy smiles up.
Point #3: Having A Smile On Your Face, Paints The Picture of How Your Baby Sees You.
- Especially when your baby see’s you smile. So we made our available designs with this idea in mind to bring an extra sense of happiness/ smile to your face.
- Okay real quick, if you didn't know. ForeverWrappedinLove.com was created by a group of Parents who recognized the need for better living and the correlation that exists between quality clothing and quality rest = happier lifetime moments between you and your baby.
